“High quality accommodation in a lovely setting.”

A very well-equipped and modern cottage, great for a family stay with older children. We would highly recommend this, and would certainly return if we planned another trip to the area.

The wheelwrights is an ideal choice for any one visiting Legoland and London as we were. Its set in a sweet little village with a good pub and friendly residents. The accomodation itself is faultless. The design, quality and comfort of the barn conversion is exceptional.i had the best nights sleep. The barn has a gorgeous log burner and even fresh flowers !!!.London is 40minutes away on a direct train to paddington and Windsor just 6miles down the road.Wheelwrights definitely won't let you down.thanks Johnson family.

“Stunning high quality accomodation”
Reviewed 5 March 2014 for a stay in February 2014

We work away all the time and try to stay in holiday cottages as they are more home from home but this one I actually want it to be my home! Everything was immaculate and all high end including furnishings, TV and sound system right down to the cutlery. No expense spared here and that's what makes it the best we have stayed in (so far) by far.

Thanks to our fantastic hosts, Sue & Steve and hopefully we will be back soon!

“Absolutely Fantastic”
Reviewed 23 December 2013 for a stay in December 2013

My family and I stayed here and it was just wonderful. The cottage itself is so much better than even the lovely pictures show and the owners made sure that we were all well catered for, welcomed and looked after. From our first contact to our arrival and stay they couldn't do more for us but also respected our privacy and allowed us to enjoy the cottage and our own family time. The cottage itself was well maintained, had everything that we needed and more and allowed us to easily explore London and Windsor as well as see friends in Reading, Henley and Wokingham. The village atmosphere of Waltham St Lawrence was a delight, parking and driving home each night was easy and the log fire and Wi Fi was a welcome addition yo what was a lovely holiday. We had a great time here and will certainly be back when we next visit from Australia.

Liked best: The decorations and bathrooms. The Christmas Tree and mulled wine on arrival was a lovely touch. The Wi Fi was quick and easy to use.
Liked least: My 'boys' would have liked sky TV to watch the football but we knew this wasn't available so this was our choice.
