My friend and I decided we would like to stay at a Victorian B&B and every place I looked at was nice on the outside but the character of the victorian days did not flow inside. I found this beautiful home online. We stayed one night in the Queen Ann Room. It was absolutely the most beautiful experience we have had. The decor of the home was like walking back in time. I loved it. Our room was beautifully decorated and very clean. Our hosts were outstanding and kind. They told us the interesting history of this beautiful home and how and why it was built. The breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend staying here. Hopefully, we can go back into time long ago again here at the Grand Victorian.

We spent several days at the B&B when attending our sons wedding. The building was built in the late 1800'summer by a lumber mill owner as a home for him and his future wife, unfortunately the marriage never occurred and the builder only lived there for a short time. The home has been fully restored to its original Victorian glory. Breakfast is served by the owner and his wife and every morning was a special treat. The parlor, sitting room , foyer, and dining room have been carefully restored to their original form, including three period furniture, wall coverings and art. The owners are extremely friendly and helpfully provide information the surrounding. On certain mornings following breakfast the wife gives a short story of the house and it history. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and should we pass through again it will be our first choice to stay.

We chose The Grand Victorian because we had a Bed and Breakfast.com gift certificate. We liked it so much that we stayed a second night. Our room, the Carriage Room, was in the separate carriage house on the second floor. Although the carriage house is new, it was decorated in a Victorian theme. However, it offered modern amenities such as air conditioning, a Jacuzzi, a separate shower, TV, and a fireplace. Coffee was available just outside our door in the morning. The breakfast served in the dining room was delicious and different each day. The owners were friendly and helpful and gave us an account of the home's history. The center of Bellaire with several restaurants was just down the street.

We stayed at the Grand Victorian for one night in Bellaire. The old house is absolutely charming and in excellent condition. The proprietors are very hospitable and very involved in the operation. Our room was quite large and very comfortable, and was just steps away from a comfortable little porch facing a charming tree lined street. Breakfast was served in the old dining room at a specific time with all guests in attendance. The food was well prepared and very tasty, with juice, fruit, an egg and sausage dish and coffee. We strongly recommend the Grand Victorian.

We spent one night of our vacation at this bed and breakfast. It is beautifully and authentically decorated. The host and hostess are personable and friendly and readily share the wonderful history of the home with guests. Our room was furnished in lovely antiques, had a private balcony and very comfortable bed. Cookies were waiting for us upon arrival and coffee was available down the hall an hour and a half before breakfast was served. Our bathroom had a toilet that ran water all the time and needed adjustment after flushing. When we arrived, the water was turned off to the toilet and the innkeeper was called to turn it on. The bathroom nightlight did not light. Breakfast was good, but not gourmet. Outdoor house paint needed attention, showing wear. Overall, a good experience, but has potential to be outstanding.
