After an absolutely wonderful visit exploring all four levels of the Worcester Art Museum, we then enjoyed an excellent lunch at the Cafe: the Monet salad with chicken; Blueberry salad with balsamic vinaigrette; bottle of water; glass of Sauvignon Blanc; and the apple "beggars purse" dessert for two. Heavenly. Cordial service. Just plain easy, pleasant and delicious.

The food is tasty, well proportioned and served quickly. I would not plan to eat here again because the wait was too long to get a seat. The slow hostess did not do anything to improve the efficiency. Only three servers were working the day that I was there which slowed down the whole process. In their defense they were overworked but never showed their agitation with the number of tables they had to serve. Five stars to the kitchen and five stars to the servers but two stars to the management of the cafe for the long waits and inefficiencies.

The Worcester Art Museum Cafe is a great place for lunch. Service is excellent; dining room is very pleasant; and the food is way better than most museum cafe food. The minestrone soup and the roasted eggplant sandwich were very good; the roasted duck breast salad was phenomenal. Even the coffee is terrific!

This place is great; whether you are visiting the museum or not. Nice light-fare lunches. The pear and mushroom soup is absolutely delicious as is the orzo pasta with edamame.
