Anticipating a special treat, I ordered the lobster roll for pickup on Sunday. A true New Englander would never season lobster with garlic salt, etc. It was so salty, it was nearly inedible. There was a good amount of big chunks, which is to be expected at a $30 price point. Huge increase since last summer. Hope they go back to little or
no seasonings before they loose more customers.
So sad that this 99 can't compare with the West Concord site which management chose to close. Having had to switch, I find the portions to be much smaller, and using curbside pickup a tricky experience. Incomplete orders are delivered to the car and having called to express my experience was given the choice that I could get the completed order if I let my dinner grow cold while I did the 45 min. commute to retrieve the balance. Management take note this place needs an undercover boss visit.
We ate under the tent in the parking lot. It was pleasant, and our server Jenna was outstanding. It is a challenge to have to service patrons so far from the restaurant, but Jenna and the serving team did a great job. Their seafood is very good, especially the Lobster roll special.
We ordered a sandwich with fries, chicken parm with pasta and scallops with rice.
Fries cold...looong out of the fryolator.
Pasta was less than room temperature. Rice and broccoli were ALSO...stone cold.
Very, very poor service at the entrance...after 530 and NOONE was there at the door. Someone who was leaving got a person.
When we were seated....we were escorted to the only other occupied booth in THE ENTIRE PLACE???!!! WHAT THE HECK. IS ANYONE BEING TRAINED THERE??
Spread people out. Every patron group that came in was stacked like cordwood. I just don't get it. TERRIBLE... TERRIBLE
