I regularly visit the library in Westford, Massachusetts, but never took time out to go the Muffins on Main right next door. I'm not sure why. I think it was because there was always just one car parked outside when I passed by. If it's that quiet, it can't be that good.... right?
Today, I decided to give it a go. My first thought was that the staff were incredibly friendly. After a nice conversation about the book I had brought along with me, followed by a wonderful coffee-infused hot cocoa and warm blueberry muffin on a cold and blustery New England day, I'll be going back a lot more.
BTW, while I read my book, there was a steady stream of locals coming in, most of whom walked, and all of whom were greeted by name as they came in. So much for my estimate of quality of the café based on the number of cars parked outside :/
