Spring finally came and a wonderful walk in borderland park made it even better. Trails for every kind of hiker, we did a shorter very scenic one and enjoyed every minute.

Plenty of trails. Easy to difficult. Even a mountain bike trail (NEMBA trail).
Several ponds and a mansion.
$5 to park for a day or you can pre purchase a annual or senior pass ( see mass. dCR website).
Weekends are busy the parking lot almost fills up. Weekdays are wide open.
I spens 2-3 hours in the park 4-5 days per week.

Love going for a walk/hike. Has some pretty areas as well as some great historical buildings. My son's class took a field trip here and it was really neat to get to go into the mansion and see it again. We've also walked through and peaked in at the old Smith Farm house. A lot of great things happening with restoration and usage of this park. Great hidden gem!
