This is listed as a restaurant in Tripadvisor, but it is also a place to stay. The bay that this gîte is situated on is quite picturesque. Not a great swimming beach, but nice enough. Unfortunately, the place itself leaves a lot to be desired. Firstly, how do you even book a room? By telephone only as far as I can work out. They don't seem to have a website or be available on any of the usual booking sites, including this one. Not surprising really when you realize they don't even have wifi! And bring your own towel if you want to dry yourself after a shower as they don't supply towels in the rooms. But the number one issue is mosquitoes. The room did not have a fan (certainly no aircon), but we thought the strong breeze would be enough to ward off the mosquitoes at night. We were wrong. They are killer mosquitoes and we got bitten alive. I ended up sleeping in the car. Gîte Isa should supply mosquito nets above the beds. They are crucial. The restaurant was limited, but ok. It is an 'eco lodge' kind of place, so you shouldn't expect too much in this regard. There were a lot of campers who came by, so perhaps this is known more as a place to pitch a tent, rather than a place to hire a room. Oh, and one more thing. Bring cash. They don't take credit cards.
