This wasn’t our first zipline but its good . It’s convenient with the Noah arc exhibition. Staff are great and friendly. The base of each zipline station is very small , I guess that adds to the thrill but took getting used to.
While touring The Ark, we also did the ziplines. First time for both my wife and self. We didn't realize what we were getting ourselves into, but it was well worth it. The course can be demanding as there are steps to get to the various platforms the various lines. It is a course that takes you through wooded areas in the middle of no where, accessible only by atvs. Prior to the course, you are shown how to use the harness, and most importantly, how to use the safety buckles to be safe while climbing. The guides were helpful and attentive and made the course a great experience. If you have never tried ziplines, I encourage you to come, try it out, and experience the feeling of stepping off the platform into air, and gliding along a cable.
Did the Christmas zip line great price $19.99 is lower than average, however the zipline didn’t go over/near any of the Christmas light displays.
My husband did this while my five year old and I walk through the zoo at the ark encounter because you had to be 8 or older to do this. I'm so glad I made him go. He came back refreshed. Amazing views, goes 70 mph plus. Anyone can do it.
Great place to zip - staff was extremely helpful, patient and down right fun to guide us along! Our two teenage boys had a blast and my husband and I (both over 50) rocked it as well. We did level 2 but wished we had gone on to do level 3 - maybe next time!
We bought tickets for the screaming eaglet course for my 7 year old, 9 year old, my wife and myself. This course is billed for kids 4 and up. Don't believe it. My 7 year old was terrified and is physically too small to reach most of the obstacles. After the first one we had to back up to get him and my wife off the course. There was also a family in front of us whose children were crying the whole time. Since the tickets were non refundable we were out $45 for my wife and younger son.
Very disappointed.
