Room was difficult to get to. There were 3 stairs required to get to the room even though it was a first floor room. I'm disabled so this was a challenge.
The room was dirty when we arrived. It had been cleaned by a housekeeper but it was still dirty. My wife and I cleaned the room together and it took us about 15 minutes.
There was a large dead bug on the ceiling by the bed. The next morning there was another of the same bug but it was alive crawling across the edge of the ceiling.
We had requested extra towels and extra feather pillows in our reservation. We were given 0 extra towels and 0 extra pillows. My wife and I had a total of 2 bath towels for 2 nights. I took 3 showers while we were there and used the same wet towel for each one. Disgusting!
The bed was very hard. When we went to bed it felt like we we were sleeping on a piece of plywood.
There were no extra plugs or USB changers next to the bed. I had to unplug the clock so I could plug in the extension cord I travel with. When I plugged the clock back into the extension cord, it had lost the time because the hotel hadn't changed the backup battery when it died.
Accommodate people when they make requests in their reservations. If you are not going to do it, you should not specifically ask people if they want extra towels or extra pillows.
The ceiling of the bathroom was stained because it looked like the bathroom in the room above had been leaking into this bathroom.
The sofa was uncomfortable. In the middle of it, you sank too far down into it. On the end of it, it felt like you were sitting on a piece of wood. Very weird.
On the second day neither of our keys worked so my wife had to walk up to the office to get new keys while I stayed by the door with our bags.
There was a big sticky spot right outside our door on the grounds that was there during our entire visit.
The door to our unit must have been busted in at some point. The secondary locking mechanism that keeps the door from opening more than a couple inches was hanging on the wall and definitely would not have stopped the door from opening at all.
The refrigerator worked, the TV worked and the shower worked.
All in all, this hotel is run down and I don't think I would stay there again.
