Overall the hotel itself was wonderful. The front desk staff was very friendly and professional and had my room key ready to go as soon as I arrived. The hotel was beautiful as was the room. The bartender in the evening was a sweetheart and made amazing drinks. What ruined our experience was my car getting broken into since valet did not lock my car. My change was stolen out of my car along with souvenirs from our trip. Horrible way to end a nice stay. Beware of the parking situation. I thought my car would be safe with valet parking considering the area.

We wanted to stay in the downtown area for our anniversary and for St Patrick’s day festivities. We had never stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott previously. Our room was a non smoking king room with city views and it was clean and with modern finishes. While we appreciated the Keurig in room and K cups, there was nothing to stir your creamer or sweetener with. I used a straw that I happened to have from a drink that I had purchased. The beds were comfortable enough but we did request an extra blanket from the front desk as we like to sleep in a cool room and none was provided in the closet. The shower was modern with a stationary glass panel which looks nice, but it was a bit chilly during the shower without the ability to turn the water warmer. The water pressure was just okay. We thought about using the indoor pool, but you have to wade through the people in the Bistro to access the hallway to get there. Neither of us wanted to walk through in our suits and towels, so we didn’t use. We did use the valet service and appreciated the friendly service from staff. Overall this is a nice hotel. With a few adjustments it could be even better.

We stayed here for my nephew’s wedding. We had excellent service from the valet to the desk staff, to the room service. A special thanks to the staff who rescued my son’s cookie box that he misplaced and had it waiting for him when he returned to get it.
