Stayed for only one night; property feels new and smelled so fresh everywhere. Staff I interacted with were nice. Room was nice with everything you need. Can’t think of any complaints but I will say the shower was oddly slippery. Something to watch out for. Walkable to restaurants … great stay overall
We loved staying at Aloft . The hotel was very clean. The check in was easy and they had great service, comfortable beds, nice towels , good soap . It was located near good restaurants and in a safe area . Perfect place to stay. I would highly recommend it .
Was here three days on business and was very impressed with hotel staff, cleanliness and bar and restaurant. My room was a large corner room with great views of South Bend all the way to Notre Dame U. Room was immaculately clean, bed and linens very plush and comfortable and functionality of the room was great with fast internet, a lot of working space , in room safe , small fridge and easy to use heat/ac.
The staff throughout the hotel are super friendly and efficient. Front desk , housekeeping , restaurant and bar were all amazing. Hotel is in excellent condition too with everything in working order. The gym was oversized with more than enough Cardio equipment and weights.
I will definitely be back since my stay was exceptional ! I’m a long time Marriott Bonvoy elite member and this hotel stands out for sure. Thank you !

This place sucks. Overpriced, pool was a 💩 🎥 . One of the elevators had to be called up in order to take it down. Staff was friendly, but others than that, the hotel is extremely overpriced. I might stay again for half the room rate and breakfast included.

This is the former Holiday Inn high rise hotel in downtown South Bend. I stayed there for a football weekend, and so had to pay the price gouging for the game weekend. There is nothing special about this hotel, which is located a bit too far from campus for walking to the football game, so transportation is an issue. For the jacked up rate, I thought the hotel should have provided free shuttle service, or done something extra for guests to make them feel better about the price gouge.
