It had been some time, since we had last been at Hubcaps, so we decided to stop for an early dinner today. Hubcaps is decorated as a throwback to restaurants and diners from the '50's and '60's. There are plenty of tables, there is a counter with stools and even a dance floor for those oldies. Pam was our server and she brought the menus and warm dinner rolls with butter, as we sat down at the counter. Knowing how big the full slab of ribs, we decided on a couple of different appetizers. The first were onion rings which were crispy. The second was the pizza bread which came with marinara sauce and tasted great. The third was the cheddar stuffed jalapenos which were definitely well stuffed with cheddar . We also ordered the full slab of ribs dinner which was $15.95. It came with a dinner salad, as well as cole slaw and mashed potatoes and gravy. The ribs were awesome and of the fall-off-the-bone variety. Plus, it was a humongous portion. We were unable to finish everything and I think we'll have two more meals. The prices are reasonable. The staff is excellent, and the owner, Corinne, enjoys meeting and talking with her guests. A great dinner.
