Went to dinner on a Tuesday night with another couple without reservations. Upon entering we were greeted and asked if we wanted hibachi or regular dining, which is what we opted for. The place is well lit and decorated with a modern flair. We were seated quite close to another table but after a few minutes I didn't mind. There was also a bright large light fixture over the table area but got used to that as well. A busser brought water immediately as well as the large menu. It took several minutes for our server to come over but none of us minded. I asked about drink specials since I saw on line they have all day specials during the week, the server said happy hour was over and I wasn't about to argue over their website. We placed our drink orders, a Japanese beer, glass of chardonnay and 2 martinis. The drinks came and one of the martinis didn't have the garnishing requested but she quickly came back with a plate of the missing olives. We placed appetizer orders and needed a couple minutes to look over the large menu. She came back and took our order and soon after our piping hot appetizers were delivered. WOW! The Japanes potstickers were amazing and the coconut shrimp out of this world, and I don't even like coconut lol. The mens entrees came with soup and salad and those were delivered promptly. Before the men were finished with their salads the entrees arrived, piping hot and full of flavor. We were all very pleased with our meals and agreed we would return. We had split checks and coupons and they honored a coupon on both tabs, very very nice of them considering the coupon clearly states one per table. If I have a complaint it is that the server did not know about the all day drink special advertised on their website and the table menu did not have a dinner tempura section like the menu on line. All in all a fantastic meal and we will be back.
