We stayed at the Silversmith to do a college visit and love the location. It also has many shops and restaurants within walking distance which is nice. They have a great Covid protocol as well. We will be back!

Review of Silversmith Hotel Chicago Downtown

This is my third stay at the Silversmith. It has a great art deco look. Room are so comfy and spacious. The bathroom is large and plumbing great. The bed is so comfortable and cozy, you will want to stay in. The hotel is located in the middle of everything in The Loop. It is easily accessible by bus and metro. The from desk person, named Lady, was a delight. We chatted a few times, when she was not busy. She also gave me various recommendations. I can't wait to return.

The decor and spaciousness is fantastic. Love the huge bathrooms and comfy beds. Irving and Anastasia at the front desk were so welcoming and took care of my every need. This is a favorite hotel and my go to place in Chicago.

Absolutely LOVE this space. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The location could not possibly be any more convenient. The Orange, Green, and Brown lines of the "L" are, literally, steps from the front door and the Red line is one block west. You're in walking distance a few choices of convenience stores and shopping options -- not to mention the restaurants and coffee shops that are close as well. Very comfortable, commodious rooms that can create the perfect vibe for any couple seeking an urban sexy get away! Nothing but great things to say about this hotel. The professionalism, cleanliness, safety -- all top notch. Will always go back when I'm in town!
Room tip: Premium King give you the most space.

Centrally located on South Wabash the Silversmith Hotel is a nice boutique hotel with a personable staff, spacious rooms, and clean facilities. Located a few blocks from the Art Institute of Chicago and Millennium Park, and right next to the Chicago Transit Authority’s elevated lines in “the loop,” the hotel is ideally located for both business and tourists alike.
Keep in mind that if you stay for more than one evening there is no daily housekeeping due to pandemic restrictions—I had no issues during my 3-night stay. I enjoyed my stay but would caution perspective customers to bring ear plugs, otherwise the noise from the constant trains passing by will be difficult to sleep through.

Regarding the train, all windows on the Wabash Avenue side of the building have been fitted with an additional soundproofing window. On your future stays with us, please let our staff know you would prefer a room in the back section of the hotel and we'll be sure to make that happen.

My family and I had a great stay at the Silversmith. The staff was very friendly and the location was perfect! The hotel is surrounded by great food even during the current Covid-19 times. We prepaid our parking in the North Garage by Millennium Park (few min walk away) and it saved us some money. I would definitely stay here again!
