Great room sizes, fantastic views....and the best pool and pool deck in the city. Walking distance to Millennium Park, Navy Pier, Chicago River and it's activities and restaurants/bars....and parking.

Overall disappointed. The room was not the cleanest. The air conditioner didn’t work properly. 2 of the elevators were nonfunctional. The restaurant & bar Lake Fire was very good. Would not recommend staying here when there are so many better choices.

Because Covid prevented us from taking a family vacation this past year, we decided to splurge a little and spend a night in the city in which we live so our 3- and 5-year old girls could enjoy an outdoor pool.

We arrived at 3:30 and waited nearly half an hour to check in. We shook it off and got right to our room to change into swimsuits… where we immediately found our bath towel was covered in a clump of hair. Continued exploring the room and found that the $60 upgrade for a balcony had no patio furniture, but did have cigarette butts and bottle caps. Again, decided not to let it bother us and headed to the pool.

The pool had zero open chairs so we hid our belongings in a bush and got in the water. It was filthy… bandaids, hair, cocktail napkins. And worse, my young daughter tripped on an empty bottle of tequila that was poolside next to the hot tub. The icing on the cake was that there were no clean towels available. We notified two different employees and it was almost an hour before they were replenished. Meanwhile, our girls sat freezing and we couldn’t go back to the room.

We made the best of it, but for $656, I expected a lot more. For that kind of money, you can stay at much cleaner, nicer properties in Chicago.

The location is great. The condition of the two rooms my family occupied was disgusting. The carpets in both rooms were stained. Not a few stains here and there, but all over. The cloth armchairs in both rooms were so filthy that the thought of sitting on them was repulsive. We paid extra for a room with a balcony, yet there was no furniture on the balcony, kind of defeated the purpose. As a Gold Status guest, I would have expected some modicum of cleanliness.

I love visiting Radisson Blu Chicago because of the friendly, attentive, kind staff. Naslin, Jenn and Isabella are always a pleasure to speak with. They are my favorite part of visiting this hotel and really demonstrate the heart and soul of this hotel.

I booked into the hotel for 2 nights before moving to a friend’s house. What a mess this place is. There is zero service. The front door doesn’t always work. The phone doesn’t work. The internet dies. No maid service so you must make your own bed. The shower cannot be turned on without getting your hair completely wet. The elevator are dirty. The breakfast sandwich featured microwaved lettuce and tomato. Ugh. It took 3 tries to get a decent glass of red wine. Then there’s the $150 surcharge that’s unexplained. So the advertised price is doubled. Empty minibar. No room service. No service at all. Wondering why they have the nerve to keep the place open. I should have been paid to stay here. I did finally get a nice glass of wine and a decent salad. But the restaurant hostess was underage so she couldn’t even bring me my take out dinner order because it included wine. If I ran Radisson more than a few people would lose their jobs over this fiasco.

Room tip: Park views are OK.
