Booked this restaurant based on the buzz we heard from the locals and it is so popular it took a few nights to get a table at the time we wanted. The view is spectacular which made the rest of the experience all the more disappointing. Check-in is multi-staged and clunky (with rather unfriendly hostesses), the bartender handed over two glasses of wine then asked us to clear our tab before we'd even sat down, the music in the dining room was loud and intrusive, the menu is poorly laid out and the service was poor - rushed, unhelpful and serving up appetizers before we'd even had a chance to order a bottle of wine. We did have our appetizer (which was quite good) but were so soured by the experience that we decided to leave (the first time we've ever done that). To their credit: the waiter did his best to try to turn things around and the manager took the trouble to catch up with us in the lobby to find out what had gone wrong. I think this is a case of a very young restaurant needing to smooth out the rough edges, because obviously others have had a great experience. Hopefully they can work out the kinks because the location is second to none. I'm not one to leave reviews like this (check my profile) but had to speak honestly about the experience.
