The hotel was in a great location. Diagonally across the street is a trolley stop that will take you around Chicago and to the Navy Pier for free. This hotel was in walking distance of AMC movie theater and many shops and restaurants. Parking for the hotel is $64.00 per night (next time I think we will fly in. we did not need a vehicle), our city view was not spectacular but nice and the other window we had a view of an alley and the top of a roof building. The room was nice and clean however the bathroom can use some updates. On our check out date the housekeeper knocked on our door @ 8:00am I let her know we were in bed and not ready to leave, she came again knocking @ 11:00 on the nose the TV was on and we were moving around. I answered the door and I asked her isn't check out @ noon and she didn't say anything, I asked again isn't checkout @ noon? She said yes, I said okay we are checking out at noon. On housekeeping's behalf. NO, I did not have up the do not disturb sign, however I am sure she knew we were still in the room @ 11:00. I really didn't appreciate the 2nd knock. Overall, this is a great hotel to stay in, the perfect location to maneuver around downtown Chicago without driving. Oh make sure you have comfortable walking shoes.
