Heights scare me but this is worth every moment. There are plenty of areas/opportunities to view the canyon & I feel the structure of the bridge is just as interesting. It was windy the day we were there

Very very pretty view even for the folks like me who are afraid of heights. The vie is better near the edge but I saw if by wife’s picture

The bridge is very interesting. There is legal bas jumping from the bridge. The only bridge in the US that allows it. The bridge spans the Snake River. In the distances you can see the place where Evil Kenivel was going to attenpt to jump the gouge. He didn’t do it. Twin City and area is an interesting area. There are huge dairy farms. 20,000 cows get milked twice a day without human contact. The visitors center is interesting and a place to start your adventure. Maps and brochures are available.

With pedestrian paths/decks on each side of the bridge, you feel called to go out and enjoy the view. I went on a windy April afternoon and had to hold on to my hat. If heights are not your thing, enjoy the view from the Visitor Center or one of the several overlooks.

The Snake River canyon views from the bridge and surrounding area are incredible.

On the north side, there are scenic turnouts on both the north and southbound lanes.

Going down the staircase on either side of the bridge allows you to easily cross over to the other side. So...you can walk across one side and back the other.

The south side is very commercialized with the Visitor Center, plentiful restaurants, and modern shops along the west side and a parking lot for BestBuy on the east side.

A free and worthy stop to be sure.

Easy access through shopping area to walk. The bridge offers photographers many aspects. Even on a Wednesday, the crazy jumpers walk out the bridge, climb the rail and jump trusting they packed their parachutes correctly. Nuts! The gorge is spectacular. Lighting is difficult from some angles. Don't miss.
