Serenity provided everything that we could have hoped for and then some.

A group of 10 friends ranging in age from 24 years to 67 years, male and female, couples and singles, stayed at the Villa for 7 nights for the duration of Grenada's Spicemas Carnival.

What we didn't like?

It is a long walk in to the Villa from off the Main Road if you choose public transport.

It was also a long walk down to the beautiful breathtaking bay.

The downstairs has A/C (kitchen, dining, living room), but the five bedrooms do not, so it was a tad warm at night. Wonderful sea breezes waft in from the balcony into the bedrooms, but for security purposes we kept the doors shut while sleeping.

Also only three bedrooms had access to the balcony (two did not).

What we would not change?

Mr Bentley the Property Manager is a most charming and accommodating gentleman. Liaising with him to arrange anything we needed was a pleasant experience.

The expansive veranda downstairs and balcony upstairs were terrific areas for the group of us to bond and hang out together.

The kitchen was fully equipped with an electric stove and oven, toaster oven, microwave oven, dishwasher, pots, pans, cutlery, dishware, stemware, glasses, mugs, plastic cups... we cooked breakfast everyday, and most days someone prepared at least a partial meal for either lunch or dinner.

There was an additional fridge in a pantry room, along with gas powered bbq grill that could be moved onto the veranda.

Utility room with washer and dryer laundry equipment, towels and linens aplenty.

The pool is not heated at night but with the cool sea breezes the water never got cold and was more than suitable for the early morning swim or late night dip.

With a rental or taxi pick-up service, the location leaves little to be desired. The Villa has the most beautiful view, is spacious with clean uncluttered lines, and is suitable for friends or family. I would however caution groups with young children - the pool deck can get slippery when wet, so running kids can slip and fall and injure themselves, but otherwise, with sufficient supervision, it should be okay for older children (9+ years).

I highly recommend!!

Stayed at this villa for 3weeks in August with a family size of 10, youngest being 9 years old. There was more than enough space for everyone to live comfortably. The pool is lovely and big but is not heated so it can get cold by dusk. There's a gorgeous view from the veranda of La Sagesse beach which we were told you can walk to but we hired a car to get around and took less than 5 mins to drive too, the beach is lovely and quiet with small waves for children to be able to enjoy. There is a bar and restaurant at the beach which again is pleasant.
At the villa your about 30 minutes drive from the town of St George's which is one straight road so is easy enough to find.
The villa's manager Bently is a fantastic guy. He will he there for you from the moment you arrive till the minute you leave. So polite and friendly and extremely welcoming.
We got married whilst here on Grand Anse Beach with its stunning soft white sand and crystal blue water. Then had our wedding reception at the villa which was able to accommodate 100 guests on the veranda and pool area with ease. This included a buffet catering service with waiters and a bar area. So that gives you an idea as to the size of the villa. The decor is modern, contemporary and fresh it was like being home from home for our family . The maid who visits mid week Is also lovely she has adorable children who will come along a help out if you stay at the villa during the summer holidays. She is very efficient. Cleaning the entire villa inside and out within 2-3 hours, of which you do not have to be at the villa while she cleans.
The location of the villa is beautiful and the sea breeze that you get being so high up on the hill is to die for. Our family didn't get mosquito bites whilst on holiday, but it's advisable to buy mosquito coil to burn just to keep the flying insects away.
Staying here I would advise you rent a car to get around and visit the attractions of the island.
You won't be disappointed renting this family villa.
