I would highly recommend this hotel. It was clean, updated and in good repair. The dog park was wonderful for our little doggies. The grounds are beautiful. The breakfast was well done. Also, the staff were especially cordial and efficient. We would definitely stay there in the future again.

Great place to stay with your dog. They have a nice dog park. The hotel has a bit of age showing but was clean and comfortable. Staff was excellent.
Only con is road noise. Select your room based on the position relative to the road if that is a problem for you.

We were surprised that we were able to stay here as many Wingates don't allow pets, as we do, but this one did and even has a gated pet run. Many hotels use the poorer rooms for pets. Here we had a great room, near a door and convenient to the front.
When I came into register, I was surprised to see activity where breakfast is generally served. Turns out they have a happy hour ( I think to 7p but not sure) They had complimentary beer & wine and some light food. This evening they had tacos, may be different on other nights.
Some of the rooms had balconies or small patios (on 1st floor) overlooking the pool area. Plenty of room to sit outside and enjoy drinks, coffee or whatever.
Breakfast was pretty standard for most hotels these days with some hot selections.
A few restaurants within walking distance such as Outback, Texas Roadhouse, Arby's & Wendy's.
I don't generally give out 3 or 5 stars, but I couldn't find anything to complain about.
All in all, we were very pleased and will stay again if our travels allow.
It was great hosting you for the evening during your travels on I-75! Thank you for staying with us and for sharing your great comments about our friendly staff and clean rooms. We try to give an added touch by offering a mangers reception Monday thru Saturday from 6pm-8pm and then our PB&J station from 8p,-10pm for those looking for a late night snack. Whenever you pass through Valdosta, please make another stop at our Wingate by Wyndham!
Enjoyed the breakfast. They even have a PBJ bar in the evening for the kids. Beds are comfortable and pillows were the best I have slept on. My family has been coming here for several years as a stay over on our way to Disney World and we always enjoy staying here.
