Had two rooms. Both rooms were hot. Could not cool them below 76 degrees. Reported the problem to the front desk. Monica reset the thermostats to 70 from her work station. Did not help. They brought us fans to move the hot air. My first experience with Drury; may be my last.
Valdosta Georgia Drury Inn is like coming home to my home away,…always look forward to a few days there….friendly staff in all areas, checking in/out….cleanliness through out….attractive lobby, food service area….breakfast,the kickback meals,popcorn and cokes…..that staff with food service is awesome…..for the price….can’t beat it….have been staying at this Valdosta location over a year,every few moths…..have no complaints…..if I had a complaint it would be…..they sure know how to spoil you….and they do it with smiles and great service….
Drury Inn is a great deal if you take advantage of the evening kickback. Each adult gets three free alcoholic drinks like a margarita or cheery sour or a beer. You also get a choice of many food items. The night we stayed there was BBQ sliders, chicken noodle soup, salad, sides like coleslaw, Mac and cheese, they even had hotdogs. There's free soda and popcorn anytime. They also have a great breakfast, more choices than any other hotel. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The computer went down and we had some trouble getting checked in but the staff was great. They have a nice heated pool, very warm. They had a big hottub. There was a lot of elderly people here and many people had dogs. I felt like I was in a nursing home at times but I certainly felt safe too. I would highly recommend this location and Drury Inn.
Wow, 100% will stay here again and recommend it to anyone!!! Comforable beds and pillows, great rooms. Staff everywhere extremely friendly and helpful! James (bar and restaurant) was so friendly and pleasant! Clean hotel from lobby to rooms to eating area! Yes, you can get a meal and drinks in the evening from 5:30 to 7p, 3 drinks per adult and a buffet style meal. Not a 5 star restaurant, obviously but certainly good; we had pulled pork mac-n-cheese, coleslaw, baked beans, hot dogs. Complimentary breakfast buffet was very good, eggs, biscuits, sausage, potatoes, grits, sausage gravy, and many other items.
Drury Inn & Suites Valdosta, GA The staff was awesome and this was the best value we have had in a long time. The room was clean, pool was great and I would stay there again. We did not eat the nightly buffet, but we did have the morning buffet that was great.
