Our room was not cleaned well. There were sunflower seeds left in the couch and hair on the floor. Ants were on the couch because of the sunflower seeds. Requested to move rooms and we weren’t able to, staff did send maintenance to spray for the ants. Fitness center only has 1 working treadmill and stationary bike was broken.
It was a great hotel especially for my handicapped husband. It made his stay very comfortable and accommodating. Breakfast was great and quick when you want to get on the road. I’ve stayed there many times.
This is a horrible hotel. Dated, dirty, and smells like mildew. Nothing was working in the fitness area and was disgusting. Bugs were everywhere because of the visible mildew. No quality control whatsoever. Nobody cares anymore. Cmon Hilton, you can do better.
I am a fan of Hampton Inns. Unfortunately, this property doesn’t quite measure up.
The room was nice, well-lighted with comfortable beds. The facility was very clean. There was plenty of parking.
However, this is an older hotel in need of updating. Some USB plugs did not work. There were some mismatched furnishings in the room.
I had checked in online the previous evening, but our room was not ready when we arrived at the hotel after check-in time. Additionally, we were not offered a digital key as requested.
The free breakfast did not meet expectations. Scrambled eggs, pork sausage, and instant grits were available. No biscuits and gravy, no omelets, no potatoes. No pastries were offered, but they did have muffins, bagels, and bread. Waffles were available but due to deficiencies in other items,the waffle station was very busy. Bananas were the only fruit. The breakfast room attendant did a good job of keeping the area clean.
My family and I stayed here for a quick rest on our way to Orlando. We left a bag of laundry before realizing the mistake we were stuck in traffic not able to turn around and retrieve it. We called to see if they would hold the bag until our return trip back. I didn’t have much confidence in it still being there but we stopped in today and it was there for us! Really appreciative of the customer service. We will be returning on our next trip down! Thank you Hampton Valdosta!
