Clean, Great Staff-Need Better Signage for Nighttime

The hotel is very clean and the staff was amazing. The ONLY reason for not giving 5 stars was the signage to get there from the Interstate is not obvious enough at night. I was not the only visitor to notice this. I found it relatively easily, but it did confuse some of the elderly patrons.

This property had an issue with keeping humidity in check, a problem we also had at another hotel in Florida. The first room we were assigned was so musty there was no way we could spend the night there. The second one was not much better, so Anthony at the front desk tried one more time and we managed. He gets high marks for working with us to find something that would work. We had a little sitting area outside our room which we used and which was much appreciated. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was good also. The room itself was clean; it was the odor that was the problem. The breakfast was mostly grab and go with danish, juice, oatmeal and yogurt.

We had an excellent stay at the Sleep Inn in Valdosta. There were some problems with our room being ready so the management promptly surprised us with an upgrade! I can honestly say that either room was great but the upgrade was extra special.
The bathrooms were clean and modern, the bed comfortable and the staff was polite, helpful and cheerful despite their understaff challenges during the holidays.

We asked housekeeping to skip our rooms for towels/beds on Christmas Day. Wish this practiced around the country. Any staff that's working on a major holiday needs a break! Anthony at the front desk was one of the most pleasant, kindest and funniest men I've ever encountered in hospitality.

I just wish there was one this good in Arab, Alabama where there is only 1 option and it's terrible - and rated higher! Sleep Inn in Valdosta was a great experience, especially for the price, and we'll definitely be back. Especially to say "Hi" to Anthony!

Room tip: Side entrance doors lock up @ night - park on entrance end if out late. Strike up a conversation w/Anthony for witty, sage advice!

We stopped at this hotel for the night ! On our way to Florida! The hotel was pet friendly, very clean and the rooms were very spacious! The staff was amazing and very friendly ! And very close to lots of restaurants ! They offered a small grab abd go breakfast again the set up was very clean ! Lots of parking !

It was an amazing hotel. The staff were very polite and friendly. And the owner was so nice. He was so nice. The whole hotel was just very nice. It was cozy. And we knew that it was safe. It really made the vacation special. Thank you!

I can not believe at such a nice location,they have not apparently trained the front desk how to do their job! First I had a reservation for 5 rooms,we got checked in,and once in my room,after moving all my things into this room,my TV volume wouldn't turn up! I called downstairs,they offered no help to come fix it! I asked if we could swap my TV with one from a empty room,got told no! Finally asked if I wanted to change rooms and move all my stuff after working a 12 hrs day! So me and a buddy went to work on the tv,and we finally fixed it ourselves! Now I called to ask why my reservations weren't showing up on my Choice account, and I got told he had no idea how to do anything that had to do with putting in my rewards membership! Guess they do not care if their employees have no training as long as they get your money! We probably won't be back!

Please accept my apology on behalf of the entire staff. I am so sorry you did not have an enjoyable stay while at our nice location. It is always our objective to present an excellent lodging experience. We are so sorry we did not meet that objective with you. Our intent is to never inconvenience our guest. Intents sometimes do not count. Our GSA was extremely busy with no assistance. Again we apologize for short staff and your inconvenience. Staff is trained. However, the Choice Membership Accounts are directed through Choice. For future reference, this is a process from our system to another. The property booked has no control on how your points are allocated. You will need to contact Choice Membership for clarity on your points. Thank you for the opportunity to provide accommodations. We are hopeful that you will reconsider and allow us another opportunity to make it right. We are trained and We Do Care!! Happy Holidays!!!
