Horrible hotel/motel. They make you pay up front and no refunds if you want to leave early. The only surprise I had on this stay was I didnt see a roach. We stayed only because we had nowhere else to go from hurricane Irma. Extremely out dated and dirty. Everything is broken in one Sharpe or another. Beds hard as a rock. They don't give you enough towels. When you ask for more they dont have more to give you.

I'd like to start off by saying that I have stayed in some awful places and this is by far the worst. I booked 3 rooms for my family. Each one had a major problem. We did not stay the night because it was not safe. The staff refused a refund and did not even offer to fix the problems or put us in cleaner rooms. Problems in 3 rooms - mold, dusty everything, hard beds, hair on towels, old food in refrigerator, freezer had old food melted and refrozen, stains on sheets and furniture, microwave had inch of dust below it and was filthy, non-working phones, broken shower curtains, ACs broken or loud and rattling, ice maker outside was filthy, and broken TV remote.
Don't stay here unless you want to catch a respiratory infection or MRSA.

Paid before we saw room. Huge mistake. No refund and manager was extremely rude. Bed is a mattress sitting on a piece of plywood. Chair had stains from God only knows what. 4 locks on the door should have been our first clue. Health dept needs to shut that place down NOW.

My sister and I were driving a uhaul truck pulling a car trailer. Stopped at this America's Best Value Inn at 4:30 am. If it had not been 4:30am we would have left and demanded a refund. The room had a small couch with huge stains all over it. The door had 4 locks on it and we weren't sure the towels and wash cloths were even clean. After checking the beds for any kind of bugs, we slept in our clothes, that's how disgusting it was. Maybe this hotel is a rent by the hour. Definitely not one we'd ever stay at again.

So there was a lot of activity in Valdosta when we tried to find a room. The America's Best Value Inn did have availability, so we took it, rather than drive another 45 minutes late at night.
The first room we got had a door to another room. Which would not lock. And the person in that room was having a loud argument on the phone. So we asked and got another room. This one did not have a door. But it did have a cockroach that walked across the table holding the TV. I was very careful about storing my bags and checking around so I did not have any uninvited passengers.
I will say after all the shenanigans the room was quiet. Also, the clerk at the front desk was helpful in our request to move, without any argument. The lone bright spot.
If you check this place out, be very cautious.
