Tuesday night was quiet. Not much going on in Valdosta. Booked online, checked in with license and confirmation email, given upstairs room. Two floors, outside access, lots of lighting, room smelled clean, nice and clean everywhere, and needs were comfortable. Great budget inn just as described.
My stay was 4 nights and I liked the relaxing atmosphere about the place while still amazing. The housekeeping staff were very helpful, although there was a language barrier. Thank you Dave for the great stay.
Booked a room because we stayed here before and I gave a good review. My mistake!! Second time the manager gave me a room next to some crack heads screaming and shouting at a football game! Understandable, they should get excited, but we got stuck in a s*&t hole room that stunk with smoke and we had been here before and saw nothing like this! We went to dinner and came back and it was even worse, the screaming became cussing about 10 pm.., I had it and went and complained. There were, honestly, 5-6 empty rooms on either side of us. He asked if he should move them or us? We got moved to room 103, the same room we had several years previous and I gave a good review. WTH! Bookers beware, check your room before accepting it!!
We are sorry about your experience. Did you request a smoking or non smoking room? We have both room types available (the type of room matters considering the smoke smell). Also, was your stay in room 103 better? I hope your problem was solved.
The jacuzzi suite was clean, however, I always bring my own Gloves,Clorox clean up, air sanitizer and Super size sanitizer. Beautyrest Mattress so comfortable I totally missed the alarm and still no problems checking out. Thank you and I wish you all the best. QUEEN.
When I was checking in desk clerk was complaining computer was slow. She could not find my reservation so I assume she made one for me while I was standing there (I did not know she was doing this) she then asked me how I wanted to pay cash/credit and quoted me a higher price. I explained I have always booked online and my card was online as well. She had me show how much I was suppose to pay then adjusted the price. Once in the room I noticed there was no clock. Went back to office asked for clock she contacted owner and was told he had no clocks to give me. I then asked for a wake up call and she told me she is the only one working that day and would not be able to call me and the owner who lives on site will still be sleeping. The next morning 6:30 AM I went to office and door was locked but had buzzer to push to wake up owner and come and help me. While waiting for receipt I saw big coffee containers in lobby and asked could I please come inside and get some coffee. He replied coffee was not available but I could use the supplies in my room to make a cup. I always stay at Red Roof Inn and never have I had such a terrible experience. Never will stay there again. No clock, no wake up call and no fresh coffee what a joke,
