After over booking at the motel we were going to stay at they found us another place here at the DAYS INN. The people here are all nice. And the room was clean. Over all a nice place to stay.

    I stay at this Days Inn, for one week, although this year was only a few days. The facility is well maintained and the office personnel, including the owner, are always pleasant & accommodating.

    I had booked a room with my daughters help, she wasn't traveling with me but helped me locate a room. Due to a college game rooms in the area had prices unusually high. The pictures of the room looked fine and we had few options. When we arrived we had to wait in line for twenty minutes until we were found a room. The first room we were sent to had not been cleaned and had someone's food in the refrigerator, it was not acceptable.
    I went back to the front desk and waited while another room was found, this room although a big improvement was lacking a clean feeling. For example the bathroom wall and door jam had pooh smears!
    We had few choices so we stayed, sleep was interrupted by the flashing strobe type light outside our room, the rooms curtains didn't meet and the lights seeped through.
    The vending machine outside are room was depleted of all but two choices. The machine with inventory wouldn't accept the money. The ice machine did work. If you had a bucket or cup.
    The sink inside the room leaked water and the carpet was wet and I had to wear my shoes to use the restroom.
    We survived and very happy to be home!

    After reading the reviews about how this hotel treated Hurricane Irma evacuees, I felt compelled to share my experience as well.
    I booked ONE room at this hotel through Expedia. Within one hour I cancelled the reservation, because it was not in the right area of town I needed. Expedia sent me my confirmation of the cancellation.
    I was charged for the room anyway for the night of the booking, Days Inn owner told me 2 reservations were made and only one was cancelled. So at this point I do not know who made the error, Days Inn or Expedia and each was blaming the other.
    After many hours on the phone with Expedia and Days Inn and Wyndham (who is the parent company to Days Inn) here is what happened. Expedia sends out two confirmation numbers, one goes to all 3 parties (me, Days Inn and Expedia), one goes only to Days Inn and Expedia. When Expedia spoke directly with Days Inn franchise owner, and asked for proof of the reservation via the special number that is only provided to Days Inn, they refused to provide the number that is exclusive between them. In my opinion, this means he did not have it because it was never provided due to no second reservation ever being made through Expedia. The franchise owner of this location directed both Expedia and I to deal with it at his corporate office, to which he gave me the wrong number. Expedia went as far as calling the corporate offices (Wyndham) and was told that unfortunately the individual franchise owners have the ultimate decision in whether a refund will be provided or not.
    Expedia after dealing with this greedy person did not feel like this owner was going to grant me the refund and offered to right the wrong by giving me a credit for a future stay through Expedia even though this was the fault of Days Inn. I have disputed it with my CC company but not sure how that will resolve.
    DO NOT STAY HERE.... How can a person be so horrible, my situation was not nearly as bad as what was done to hurricane evacuees. Wyndham Hotels Inc. should disassociate themselves with this poor humanitarian.
