We booked 2 rooms as we were fleeing IRMA and this was the only place that still had rooms available . When we got there finally after 15 hours at 1:30 AM they had raised the rate 30.00 per night because they knew there was no where else to go . The rooms were dirty , mold ring in the toilet , Hairs on the side of the tub and on the bathroom floor , the rooms had a bad smell , so since I own a cleaning company , I had supplies and a vacuum and my daughter and I cleaned the rooms ourselves . My husband found illegal plants growing on the property while walking our dog , one of the maintenance men knocked on our door very drunk to see if his neighbors were still there , my dog didn't appreciate that , very sketchy employees . The breakfast was a joke . The keys did NOT open the doors . A local couple we spoke to at Walmart said NO ONE stays at that motel unless something like IRMA happens . I have called corporate , I have called my credit card company and I won't stop until I get ALL of the guests that were ripped off justice !!! This was not the only DAYS INN that price gouged during this hurricane according to the credit card company . DAYS INN Corporation needs to step in and make things right ! I have told everyone on my customers and will continue to tell others until this is resolved !
