Far from being a luxury hotel, it was well worth the $50 per night we paid. Although the room could have used some regular maintenance, the staff was incredibly nice, the housekeeper was charming, and the room was clean. If you are just looking for an inexpensive place to lay your head at the end of the night, it is a great choice.

Bring your own internet device, I have stayed in 4 different hotels in Thomasville and all of them blow. Different configurations on how you connect but in each case it is a horror to connect and stay connected. I run a couple of networks in St. Augustine at hotels and RV parks and I don't get calls or have problems. I keep it Simple / Stupid. This one was simple / stupid the stupid part was that once you connected you could not get anywhere. It is like Hooray you understand how to connect to a network. Congrats! Oh you want to get to the internet. I don't know how to help you with that. Bring your own internet device as a for sure backup plan.

Obviously, this is not a luxery hotel. It's a deal if you're just looking for a roof over your head for a couple of nights, as my husband and I were. However, it was musty smelling/feeling in the room and when we arrived late on a Friday night, the staff were less than helpful, having just crawled out of bed. However, it's definitely a place to stay if you're looking to save a buck and spend elsewhere (like on food and fun, as we did).

Was in town on business, and chose this hotel for the price. Clean room, great, spacious suite, and amenities. The best part of the evening, was Rene's welcome wit and sense of humor. While being very professional, her natural ability to talk to a guest in a personable manner, is something missing in today's society. If I find my way back to the area, this will be my home away from home.
