Arrived at the end of the month July. My family and I stayed at this wonderful place for 4 nights. The rooms are clean, and the staff come every day and change the towels and the bedsheets. They put two heat flasks in you bed, during you eat dinner so you bed is all warm. The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly.

Room tip: Stay there when you have the money and visit Nyungwe

Nomen est omen: on the top of one of the hills in the vicinity of Gisakura, this lodge overlooks Nyungwe forest and the many tea plantations. The rooms are large and very clean, the staff exceptionally friendly and attentive. The menu has a good variety. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back soon again!

This hotel, although much more like a lodge, is in a wonderful position with simply stunning all around views. Whilst the chalets are a little dark, they have everything you need, bedlinen and towels were good quality, plenty of hot water and good shower pressure. We loved the hot water bottles in our bed. We enjoyed every meal we had, it was well prepared, cooked and presented. The staff are courteous and professional. All in all a stay I would highly recommend.

Room tip: All rooms have great views

Nyungwe Top View Hill Hotel is indeed a great Hotel to stay in. The staff are very friendly, energetic and supportive to their guests. Meals and drinks are great. The Hotel location is very close to Nyungwe Park's office and have a spectacular views of the tea plantations and can be a wonderful starting point for community tours. Highly recommended

Since there is no accommodation within Nyungwe National Park, we wanted to stay somewhere close by that still kept us feeling close to nature. This place delivered this, with 360 degree views of tea plantations, forested mountains and the Park. This place is more like a lodge than a hotel, partly because it has its own 1930s like almost art deco style, and because the staff are really friendly - its almost like being looked after by relatives. The food is also a welcome surprise, with a diverse menu and a lot of care and flair in the presentation. The waiter Jose has hospitality training and loves to share it. It was a cold night and we found hot water bottles in our bed and fire burning next to it. If you can, stay two nights.

Room tip: Arrive well before dark to see the views, bring snacks if you want them
