Just opened and we stopped by. We have eaten at every bar b que in north Georgia. This was amazing. It melted in your mouth. I had the pork. My mother in law had the ribs. She said they were amazing. We ate outside. The inside is pretty tight.

so good. so nice. you should totally go. best BBQ I've had in I don't know how long. I had pulled pork, potato salad, roasted corn and my husband had ribs. smoked nice. fell of the bone. extremely kid friendly. thanks for a great meal.

Easy to miss but it is worth looking for it. Parked at the door and sat at one of about eight tables/booths. Very friendly service and great BBQ. We had ribs, chicken and pulled pork. Sides were cold slaw, chips and beans. Ten minutes after the food arrived about the only thing in sight was a few bones and used napkins. Prices were very reasonable.

If you like BBQ, I'll bet you will like this.

We just ate at Mike's; had read previousTrip Advisor reviews before coming; had eaten at Joes BBQ in Blue Ridge so wanted to give this a try.
From the service to the food it was excellent. BBQ ribs were "fall off the bone" good and pulled pork just as good; all very flavorful. The side dishes were a welcome, creative surprise (coleslaw with a sweet taste of pineapple added, stewed apples in Mountain Dew w/topping that added texture like a cobbler), also fresh "roasted" corn on the cob. These sides far exceeded our expectations as we had tried side dishes at Joes BBQ which tasted like they were poured from the can.
The only side dish at Mike's that could have used a bit more creativity was the baked beans (some spice or sugar added).
Our server was friendly and efficient which added to our pleasurable dining experience.

We decided to try Mike's in the middle of the afternoon. When we pulled up to park we noticed three people smoking cigarettes and talking by the side of the building. They saw us parking and started SMOKING HARD to finish their cigarettes. When we came in the three rushed into the restaurant. We noticed they did not wash their hands and all three reeked of tobacco. We looked at each other and left. Mike's brings a new meaning to the term "Smoked Food".
