In addition to award-winning Spanish/Cuban cuisine, the Columbia features flamenco dance performances nightly, Monday - Saturday. The Hernandez Gonzmart family has been making restaurant history since 1905 when they opened their landmark Columbia Restaurant, which today is Florida's Oldest RestaurantSM. Today, 4th & 5th generation family members work hard to preserve the family's legacy that their great-grandfather Casimiro Hernandez, Sr. created more than 114 years ago when he opened the Columbia as a corner café frequented by local cigar workers. Our guests enjoy many of the same century-old family recipes that have made the Columbia famous like Paella "a la Valenciana," Red Snapper "Alicante," and the Original Cuban Sandwich. Don't miss Columbia's Original "1905" Salad(R), prepared tableside.

Lovely re-decorated red room. Service very good - staff accommodating. A little disappointed with the 1902 salad which used to be spectacular, but this time it wasn’t chopped up finely and not great. The Cuban was tasty and the glass of Sangria- while I enjoyed it cost $8.95..

The columbian is a truly authentic Spanish restaurant. The food, drinks, and decor takes you back. One of my favorite places. My favorites are the Chicken and Yellow rice and I cant pass up the sangria!

We had a table of 6 and the service and food was off the charts. My thin steak was perfect and everyone seemed to love their meal. The Mojitos were delicious to start off the evening.

Best part of the experience was the personal tour we received behind the scenes at the
restaurant-it was fabulous!!! My sisters are home econ teachers and they were amazed at how well staff functioned, the cleanliness of the work areas and the overall pleasantness of all the workers who spoke with our group!
