It was more than I expected! Many species, various exhibits. This is as much a learning experience as it is fun! Friendly staff!

Love this aquarium and LOVE LOVE LOVE that it is indoors. During the winter months we frequent the Lowry Park Zoo and in the summer it's all about the Aquarium and it's lovely air conditioned exhibits. You will enjoy petting the sting rays and sharks (small guys, don't worry!). Our favorite exhibit other than the main shark exhibit is the octopus. Very cool!

We liked that the Aquarium was not too big. It was well laid out with beautiful walking areas through Florida foliage with animals close by. We loved the African Penguins, the Lemurs, the many birds and of course the sea life. The various types of sea horses were amazing. The cafeteria has seating out by the water and there was also a short film from the BBC's, Planet Earth series with interactive seats. (water sprayed at you, rumbling seats....etc) We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

It is ranked one of the best aquariums but it's not! VERY SMALL and WAY OVERPRICED!! Not a lot of wildlife just a lot of pictures!! Spent extra $15 to go on dolphin cruise which was a waste! Basically it's a 1 and a half hour boat ride to hear how the island got its name. Saw a dolphin fin about 200 feet away and they said there's a dolphin fin and turned around and left. Disappointed!! Will never go back. Just a waste of time and money!

This aquarium looks huge from the outside. But is only really on the 2nd floor of the aquarium. It has your typical fish and a few other animals like tortoises, owls. Birds. Gators, lemurs and otters. They have a large tank full of large fish, sharks and large eels and baracuddas. The walking tour on your own is approx 45 minutes to an hour max. If you have gone to the Baltimore or atlanta aquarium you will be dissapointed. The cost for adults 29.00 seniors 27 and children 20.00 to me not worth the cost. Parking is 15.00. They have a restaurant and gift shop. Outside is a small cool off water park for kids and outside sitting. If kids never been to an aquarium good place as its small and short. If you love aquatic life. Sace money and go to a bigger one. Hope this helps. David G.
