Stayed for a week. The first night was on the second floor on the south side, facing the main road. I felt like I was at a drag race event. REALLY loud motorcycles, trucks, and the random yahoo with no muffler sound like they are right in your room and continue through the wee hours of the morning. Switched to the opposite side of the hotel and a high floor and it was lovely. Watched the red Florida sun sink peacefully over the treeline, nice views and quiet. Excellent tap beer and fresh ingredients in the bargain-priced 'Tallahassee burger' at the hotel restaurant are worth a visit even if you don't stay here. The neighborhood is a bit iffy, with the occasional homeless and rather dangerous-looking 20-yr-old male shuffling about. If you haven't been to Tallahassee recently keep in mind there are no cabs anywhere, even at the airport. You have to Uber everywhere. The front desk can't even call a cab for you.
