We stayed for graduation and the location was near the colleges. This is a new property, very clean, nice mid-range hotel.
The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was good and well-attended. The beds were comfortable.
The only quibble I have is $15 for the self-park.
Otherwise, perfect for what we wanted. Good choice if you are attending a college event.

Overnight stay riding with a group of +26 bicyclists across the Southern Tier.
Stayed on double Queen standard rooms, got an early check in and had free parking to our SAG supporting vehicles: two vans and a trailer
Enough space for equipment and bicycles, clean rooms and renovated bathrooms made this a good experience

The bed was so uncomfortable. The mattress was hard. They had no mattress toppers or a plush mattress. I dread spending 3 mandatory nights in 3 weeks for graduation. Homes2suites and Doubletree in Tallahassee have matters toppers and much more comfortable beds.
I have no idea why such a busy hotel would have such uncomfortable mattresses.

$80 a night room for $300 and not even water or anything for business elite members. Never again. Marriot is overtaking hilton. Time to switch. Hilton charging top dollar for name. Pool is very small and more like large hottub

New hotel, very nice! Super clean, comfortables beds, better than average breakfast and very nice helpful attentive hotel staff. Attractive decor. Definitely would stay again when traveling through Gainesville. A great city. Great restaurants and go gators!
