Great lunch. Service so friendly. Grilled pork chops(2) for lunch with stuffed bell pepper soup were amazing. I had chopped steak with brown gravy the 2nd day for lunch. Indoor and outdoor seating.

I hadn't been to the Flamingo in quite a while - not since the fun train ran around the edge of the ceiling. Alas!! no more train.
It is just as popular as ever, especially with the locals.
The service is excellent, the food is good and the prices are reasonable. There is a wide breakfast menu -- I had to hunt around to find plain old bacon and eggs. Found and they were done just right -- bacon nice and crispy as ordered.
The location on Rt. 1 & Indian Street is convenient. Adequate parking is available in the front along Rt. 1 and also behind the building.
This is a local favorite but just as welcoming to those just passing through.

Love ❤️ to go to the Flamingo Diner. The food is very good.The service is the best you can get.I would recommend to eat there as I do Tuesday & Thursday.

Breakfast is wonderful. Excellent food at a great price. I had an Omelet with best home fries ever. It was the first time I could not eat it all.

There is much to like about Flamingo Diner. You are immediately taken by the intimate, single-room (plus a bar seating 8). It is a comfortable & clean space - inviting and well appointed.
The morning I visited (note that FD opens at 6:30 all mornings except Sun as opposed to the 7am listed) I seemed to be one of the only ones not on a first name basis with the staff - usually a good sign.
Though they serve standard diner fare for lunch & dinner, I was here for breakfast.
While the menu offerings were pretty standard, all of the favorite usual suspects were accounted for.
I went with the vegetarian omelette w hash browns and my meal was spot on. Fresh & well cooked. I substituted toast for a biscuit & it came open-faced, slightly griddled - a great choice. And the coffee was great.
A special strong note to the friendliness & attentiveness of the staff.
This is a definite go-to for that home style breakfast fix. Looking forward to getting on a first name basis too.
