If you're looking for good home cooking at a VERY reasonable price...go here. The servers are all beyond excellent, the food is fantastic. You can eat inside or outside. Not good scenery but everything makes up for that.
Hint...their cheesecake is to die for. .ask for blueberries on top, it is OUT OF THIS WORLD and the slices are huge. My mother-in-law and I had their cheesecake only for lunch one day and left happy....and absolutely stuffed. :-) :-)
FYI, it's located next to the big gas station on the corner of Federal Hwy ( U S.1 ) and Indian St.
IF YOU HAVEN'T WARREN THERE, YOU MUST GO !!!!!
The burgers are great and huge, I got the scrod tonight and it was delicious , they have great coleslaw, salads & mashed potatoes too (great gravy too). Their liver and onions are SUPER! !!!!!

There are so many restaurant choices in Stuart, it's hard to know what to pick. We happened on to the Flamingo Diner, because Diners are usually known for variety if nothing else and I was with my sister and she is a picky eater! The menu didn't disappoint! Large variety from seafood, italian, burgers, grilled cheese sandwiches to complete dinners like, Turkey with stuffing, gravy, mashed potato and cranberry sauce. Service was outstanding. Very at home feel and great homemade food.

While traveling up coast after catching the Sun Rise in Lake Worth, we were hungry for Breakfast, taking the slow road allows you to see the real Florida. Located on US-1 in Stuart is a Gem of a place call the Flamingo Diner located in A Strip mall. We passed a few dozen spots went we noticed this wonderfully warm and friendly Diner. Walking in we were greeted by Barbara, with that ever lasting NY kind of How Are Ya. We knew we hit the right place. Flamingo has was complete menu, open seating, decorated with the South Flordia trendy style. The food was Superb, quick and the waitress was as friendly as our host. never had to ask for more coffee, except to stop pouring more. I ordered the Country Omelette (Hey that's the way they spelled it) which was out of this world, the biscuit melted like the butter. Stu ordered 2 eggs with ham all perfectly prepared. Great Find on road trip to Cocoa Beach.

We went for a late lunch on a Sunday. It was still crowded, but getting ready to close. (line was out the door at Toojays across the street).
I ordered a salad that was ok. Lots of iceberg lettuce, tons of feta cheese, cranberries and pecans. The dressing was good, but it was a huge bowl of iceberg so to me, just ok. My husband's Greek salad was also ok; it was iceberg with plenty of toppings. We ordered a side of fries. They are the seasoned, coated kind, which are not our favorite. Service was very good, price was very fair.

This place is always hopping. It is a family owned restaurant. The food and quantity is good. If you are like me and want onions in my hash browns, forget it. The onions are sauted and placed on top of the potatoes.
