Would defiantly recommend this beach house. Great location and very clean. Owner was very friendly. The house has every thing you need for a comfortable stay. You can walk to beach in less than a minute.
We got in after a long flight and Cory the owner was there to meet us with a bottle of delicious wine and two glasses which we quickly made use. The refrigerator was stocked with water and soda. Corey noted that the sun was about to set and that we could enjoy a beautiful sunset, so we headed over to the beach which was a short walk. After a spectacular view of the sun sinking into the ocean, we returned and found the bed comfortable, the shower warm and the rooms clean and bright. We usually stay in a hotel, but here, Cory was available next door to answer any questions. I was afraid we might have pestered him but he loves to talk to people and answered us about where to eat, what to see and where the local tennis courts were. We plan to return when we have more time. It was more like visiting a friend then renting a vacation suite!
All of my expectations for this vacation were exceeded. This place is just a few steps from one of the most beautiful beaches in the country. I knew this before I booked it. What I didn't know was how dedicated the owner was to making sure everything about our stay was exceptional. He went out of his way to make sure we had all of the information we needed to find the place, get settled in, and enjoy ourselves while we were there.
The cottage was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The pictures very accurately portray the actual accommodations, but it is even nicer in person. In addition to the expected amenities, the owner provided beach chairs and towels. Given the amount of time we spent on the beach, this made a big difference. Beyond this, the owner is truly one of the nicest, most genuine people I have met. We ran into him frequently during our stay, and he always took the time to talk with us, answer all of our questions, and make recommendations for our visit. Honestly, he seriously raised the bar for my definition of outstanding hospitality.
Just finished a week's holiday in the Beach House with my wife and loved it. Pass a Grille is understated but will become more popular as it's redevelopment takes shape. Cory was a great host and everything was as stated. Couldn't believe the proximity to the beach - it really is only a minute walk! As this is a residential area there were relatively few other people using the beach which is incredible - at times it felt like we had booked the beach to ourselves. Bars within walking distance and I'd recommend the Wharf. Now off for another week in Clearwater and struck by $25 a day car parking and $20 a day resort fee which reminds me of the good value that the Beach House represents with neither of these fees.
