Owner description: Anastasia State Park includes 1,600 acres of rich ecosystems and abundant wildlife. Explore up to four miles of pristine beach, the estuarine tidal marsh teeming with plant and animal life, or the self-guided nature trail which takes you through the maritime hammock and onto ancient sand dunes. You can also visit the Coquina Quarry, an archaeological site where coquina rock was mined to help construct the nearby Castillo de San Marcos National Monument, earning it a spot on the National Register of Historic Places. At Anastasia, there are many recreational activities to enjoy including hiking, swimming, beachcombing, bird watching, and much more. The campground contains 139 campsites all located within the beautiful maritime hammock and just a short walk or bike ride from the beach. Anastasia has concessions to provide guests with rental opportunities of bicycles, paddleboards, kayaks, sail boats and canoes. There is also a grill area and a small gift shop for visitors to take home an Anastasia memory. The grill location also provides Wi-Fi for visitors' use.

We were in St. Augustine for "A taste of St. Augustine", which was held at the amphitheater located inside the State Park. The park entrance fee is $8 per car or $2 per person walking or bicycling into the park. However, because we were going to the food festival, we weren't charged the entrance. This place has a beach, at the very end of the park. There are several nature walks and many areas which seems like a lot of fun for the family. The park has camp sites so it seems to be ideal for camping. I would definitely return.

This is a beautiful state park, right on the Atlantic Ocean. There is a gorgeous beach, with miles of beautiful white sand and lovely water. No commercial vendors on the beach to interrupt the natural beauty! The state park offers RV camping, snack bar, hiking, and numerous water sports, etc. Wish we had planned to stay longer!

Quiet and clean beach. We will definitely go back to this place, plus they have food. Anyone wanting tranquility to watch the waves roll in should see this beach. Easy walking on the sand.

The day we went the weather was chilly and windy so we decided not to set up our beach chairs and umbrella (it would have blown over) but just walked for a ways along the beach. There's a large parking lot, restrooms with changing rooms, a little cafe and a gift shop. There were no lifeguards, but might be during the summer? There are no hotels/condos/buikdings on about a 5-mile stretch of beach - beautiful flowers blooming on the dunes. I will definitely go there again.

We had been in Florida a few days before we headed to the beach. This one had been recommended to us and it was lovely! We arrived at lunchtime and had hotdogs at the little food shack in the parking area. Restrooms are also there.
It was interesting to see alcoholic drinks are sold there also. Our experience is that state parks do not allow them. So surprise!
It was a super windy day and a little tooo cool for getting wet -plus there were riptide warnings - but the beach was lovely.
We would return!
