We parked at the parking garage to the rear of the visitor's center. Upon exiting the garage, we walk through the courtyard and into the visitor center. Inside they have what several artifacts and replicas depicting what life was like in the 17th century. It's sort of like visiting a small museum. They also have pamphlets with information about St. Augustine, along with maps of the city and various attractions. There is a gift shop which displayed many beautiful and/or interesting items. Also, the bathrooms were clean. I recommend a visit to the visitor's center.
