We stayed 5 days over the Labor Day weekend. The location is fantastic and the views were picturesque. The unit was large and roomy. The decor was average and so was the furniture. My family and I travel a lot. We can adjust to any location and environment. Imagine my surprise when the unit fell short of my expectations.
At over $300 per night I was disappointed in the following: no concierge book in the unit, at check-in the manager told me there were no local maps for the guests. The front desk did not have maps and information on restaurants or fishing within the local area.
The walls could use some touch up paint from where the iron chairs in the dining room scraped against the wall.
The unit and balcony needed a good dusting. The living room and dining room furniture along with the artificial plants were full of dust and should have been cleaned in between check-ins. The coffee pot pieces did not work well together due to the pieces being from different models. The utensils also did not match. At the cost of the unit, I expected better quality than what was in the unit.
There appeared to drops of blood or something red behind the door on the floor behind the master bathroom doors.
The bed covers are outdated (for the cost of the unit). The window blinds did not work properly because those were also pieced together from two different sets of blinds.
The patio furniture had cigarette burn stains on the furniture. Again, not what I would expect for the cost of the unit.
Overall, the unit was average. The location was great but I believe I could have found a much cheaper deal for the quality that I received.
