Drinks so expensive house keeping terrible. Aircon caused me chest infection never been so ill. Got back to uk put straight on antibiotics been 10 days still off work. I’m always healthy but deffo no this aircon has wiped me out. Spoiled my holiday and taken sick days off work. Definitely this hotel needs the aircon looking at before making any other s ill.

Currently on holiday now been here for the last 10 days, The best thing about this hotel is the location on international drive close to restaurants and bars. Universal is around 10 mins away and Disney parks are around 20 mins away.

I booked this hotel as it had shuttle transfers well what a waste of time. I have used Ubers since we been here, transport times are rubbish or you can’t get booked on and when u do get booked on doesn’t send you any confirmation so nothing to show the driver so not worth the hassle.

The hotel itself is what you need basic though, bathroom tiny, we are out all day so only in three to sleep really, the maid does come in everyday but I DONT think she cleans the floors, they are dirty even when we arrived on the 1st evening my feet was discussing she doesn’t use a mop, bucket and water so how she suppose to clean I don’t know. bathroom has not been cleaned since we arrived she only seems to make the beds and empties the bins, 1 bouns you do get clean towels everyday.

Breakfast: wish I hadn’t bothered to pay for it, had English tea for 1st few days now you can’t get it and they say they don’t have it
Staff don’t understand what you saying and get the breakfast wrong everyday.

Pool area is nice, just what you need for relaxing in between park days, water does smell and I’ve not seen the pool be cleaned by anyone yet!

Wouldn’t return or recommend this hotel to anyone!!

Room tip: Stay in a different hotel but stay on international Drive

I'm sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with the cleanliness of your room. Our housekeeping team strives to maintain high standards. For conservation reasons, our refresh service consists of trash removal, making of beds, refresh of bathroom towels and replacement of toiletries. Should your stay be longer than four nights, you will receive a full-housekeeping service every fifth day of your stay. It includes trash removal, bathroom cleaned, replenish of bathroom towels and amenities, change of bed linens and making of the beds, dusting and cleaning of the floors. If your stay is beyond five days, the cycle above will be repeated. This is communicated on all of our booking sites, on our FAQ page and on our welcome letter upon your arrival.

Thank you for mentioning the nice pool area, which provides a relaxing atmosphere for our guests. Our pool does get cleaned daily, early in the morning, typically before most guests are moving around the resort.

This was our second stay at the Avanti int resort. I had messged reservation to ask for a room like we had the previous year and received a reply stating this had been noted and would try to accommodate but on arrival the front desk had no information and said the fault was on reservations team and the only room they had was upstairs which wasn’t helpful considering my husband had a injury to his back and leg so I messged reservations immidiatly and of course NO REPLY which is very unprofessional and rude !!
We visit Orlando pretty much every year and like to split our holidays to stay in verious hotels and with I-Deive being a good location with large choice of restaurants at our feet it’s an obvious choice . Most hotels other than those catering mostly for conferences are mainly 3* which always makes me feel a little wobbly but the Avanti is fairly new and fresh which is the reason for choice and returning.
We like the relaxed feel to the hotel layout, we can drive to and park outside our room, no need to walk far or through reception for anything , (parking is plentyful)

I know there have been review taking of the rooms not being clean but as soon as I walked in to the room I walked bare foot and the floors were lovely and clean as was the whole room. The one big issue we found this year was with the bathroom being tiny and of course wet once used we had no private space to dress because the vanity area had no door whereas the room on our last visit did - this needs to be addressed and sorted !!
The pool area is a really nice size with a play area if you have small children but umbrellas are only available on tables and not longers and towels are put out poolside a couple of times in the morning but after this they are impossible to get.

Our fridge seemed to have issues , it froze all our tubs of fruit, yougurts , milk etc ..
On check out I mentioned this to the reception staff and gave the proof but the guy behind the desk just kept saying “ok”
Did he not speak English, did he not care, was he a robot? I then asked if I oweed any fees etc and he replied”NO” but of course this wasn’t true and approx $118 was taken from my account without authority. I returned to the hotel because with the fridge damaging all our products and unable to use services these resort fees cover I wasnt happy but I spoke with a lovely member of staff who handled the situation very well.

I would still recommend this hotel for consideration because other than the issue we had it is a fair priced. nice hotel in a good location with free parking and resonance resort fees of approx $15 a day.

I was worried about staying here after all the bad reviews but I have been pleasantly surprised.
We were in block 4 which is behind the bar building so we didn’t get any noise from the pool area. There was some traffic noise but it wasn’t enough to bother us.
The room was perfectly adequate for our needs. We basically wanted somewhere to store our stuff and sleep! The cleanliness of the room could have been better but I wouldn’t say it was dirty. The housekeeping was a little sporadic but we always had fresh towels. The air con is noisy but we didn’t notice it after the first night. Beds were very comfy.
We found all staff members to be polite and helpful. We didn’t use the pool at all so can’t comment on that.
The park transfers are a little iffy. The one to Universal is fine with only one stop to another hotel along the way. The Disney one however is not so good. It is always late and stops at multiple hotels along the way. It took us over an hour to get there so we gave up and used Ubers.
Overall I feel this hotel does not deserve the bad reviews and I would stay here again. It’s a budget hotel so you get what you pay for but it was perfectly adequate for what we needed.

Room tip: Ask for block 4 if you want to avoid noise from the pool

Hi stopped here for two weeks came back Monday wow what can I say still can here highway 4 in my head o m g so so noisy it was constant 24 hours a day and also the cleaning standard is absolutely shockingly poor first day we went in there after the first big clean they gave it grit sand all over the floor bits of debris in the corners bath absolutely disgusting broken skirting boards lightbulbs out there’s nothing I can say about the room service and cleaning service is good nothing at all was in room 3408 high way side please don’t waste your money and stay there pay a little bit more money as for pool area nice and clean pool nice just fare to expensive for drinks and food at the cafe is poor quality and over priced and as for the shuttle bus to parks if you can get a seat most times it’s runs 30 minutes late reception only nice when taking your tourist tact at 236 dollars for 14 nights per room tax and also a 100 doller breakages bond two has to be paid by card only real good thing is it’s location is good other than that bad please as at weekends it fills up with one or two nighter who just want to take over pool area drinking and doing drugs all over stair cases you will see if you go there it funny though security told my wife to not put my wet tea shirt over balcony but Carnot stop drug taking and dealing on site it’s amazing good job lads

The hotel staff were very friendly. The rooms were big and cleaned everyday. We got an accessible room which was great. We couldn't fault this hotel at all well within reach to everything. Thank you avanti for making this a holiday to remember we will be back.

Room tip: Get an itrolley ticket you can use this all day.
