Coming from a hotel snob and someone leery of “family friendly” hotels, this hotel was in great condition. Hotel staff was very attentive and friendly.

Hyatt never fails. The hotel was overall clean. House cleaning is every 3rd day. Pool was good size. Parking available but have to pay per day. The front desk team was friendly and helpful in answering questions and adjusting accommodation. Bought universal parks tickets through the hotel universal desk staff. FL resident must show ID to buy. Breakfast is included, good food! Shout out to Emily for being super attentive with me and my partner during breakfast; helped us find seats when it got busy, and showed us how the buffet style worked. Also, gave us recommendations on what to do from local perspective. Would definitely stay in Hyatt. Just note they don't give you water bottles in your hotel, but have water stations to fill up your bottles. Or just drive to local target/publix and buy some to have in your room as there is a mini fridge.

The hotel and staff was great, our stay was comfortable. A few times the trash was missed in the room and the loungers by the pool had seen better days, the paving around the pool was also uneven and some slabs loose. Breakfast was very busy at times and finding a table was a challenge on a few mornings but Emily and the team did a great job getting the tables ready for the next guests. Shout out to Emily as sometimes she gave our son a cupcake, which was very kind. The lady behind the bar in the evening (think her name was Joanne) made fab cocktails and the pizzas were amazing!
Managed to walk to Universal and then Uber back. Also within walking distance was Millers restaurant, great service and ribs!! Longhorn, Bahama Breeze and the Outlet were also walkable in the other direction. TGIs next door, went once, not again. Food wasn’t great.
Had a fab time and would stay again.
