Although my family has visited Disney on several occasions over the years, this was our first visit staying at a value resort. In the past we have always stayed at a Disney moderate resort but due to Covid, our favorite resort had yet to reopen so we decided to try this. Although we missed the familiarity of our favorite resort, we quickly got acclimated to our new surroundings. The room was small. A Murphy bed provided the second bed in the room. With the bed engaged, we lost our only sitting area but that was generally not a problem since we don’t spend much time in the room. There are two pools on the premises along with a gift shop and quick service restaurant. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Transportation to the parks ran on time and provided quick access to the parks. My only complaint was stemmed from the first night of our stay. The Mighty Ducks pool was overrun with a high school group who were loud and monopolized the entire pool. I was thankful we had a room far away from the pool where it was quiet. The grounds were well maintained with cute decorations but the rooms lacked Disney flare. The rooms were very plain. The hotel is very close to a McDonalds so if you’re looking to save money on meals, that’s a convenient option.
