Looks like it is well cared for and has a unique calm air about it. Some interesting memorial stones.

From Ladywood Road you can not really see the church hence it is easy to miss. But it's a wonderful hidden gem, the building is a traditional Norman stone church dating back over 800 years and not been altered too much over the centuries.

The grounds are kept in excellent condition and do have a walk around the back - the views up to Ilkeston market place are lovely and you can see the sky line and the other churches in the town.

Sunday services are at 9.30am and 6.00pm every Sunday - traditional Anglican holy communion with the organ and robed choir and a warm welcome.

Our beautiful local church was the only place we would have chosen to get married. Extremely picturesque and always a warm welcome! Also where my parents were married and I was christened.

This church is wonderful. Peacefully set in its tranquil graveyard slightly set back from the busy road. Some interesting norman (I think) architecture.

All Saints Church is a grade 1 listed Norman Church in the Parish of Kirk Hallam. The church itself is quite small but it has some quite interesting "items". There is a plaque/scene made at the Stanton Iron works of the Last Supper then can you spot the name of one of the Dam Buster's squadron who is remembered in the church and finally take in the wall to your right on entering the church. Take time to wander outside and take in the views over the surrounding countryside it is so peaceful.
