Pre cruise stay

Stayed 4 nights prior to our cruise, rooms are comfortable with mini fridge and balcony.
AC, shower and blackout curtains were exceptional
Still not a fan of the $35 fee that goes to food credit. The restaurant on site is just not very good with very slow service, I would suggest just ordering enough from room service to get your moneys worth.
First night we checked in there was a very loud DJ playing next door that rattled our windows.
Self parking is easy and convenient. Very nice fitness center on site and an exceptional M- club for elite members.

Very Nice Stay close to Port and shopping

Heading to Miami a few days before a cruise, we returned to the Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay hotel. As we have stayed, and enjoyed our time at, this hotel before, it was an easy decision to return.

We were glad we did! From our easy check-in after an evening flight, to our comfortable room (very comfy bed!), and to surprisingly good quality food offered in the all purpose room (which is "dressed up" a tad for dinner), we had a great stay. The hotel is also close to the Shops at Brickell, an upscale outdoor mall with a wide variety of shops to browse.

It is a short Uber ride to the port of Miami from this hotel, making it quite convenient for those beginning or ending a cruise in Miami.

We look forward to returning to the Marriott Biscayne Bay on our next trip to Miami.

Business trip / returned Ipad

Had a nice stay. Easy check in ans room was great. Left my IPad in room and Loss Prevention Officer Rey Yazdi and Shipping Clerk Xavier promptly tracked it down and returned it to me. Thank you!

$35 unusable credit

The hotel was nice but we arrived after midnight and were told there was a $35 resort fee but we would get $35 credit for food/drinks but that it wasn't good on the day of checkout which was technically the same day. Nothing was open when we arrived of course and the credit wasn't good at all since we were just there for under 12 hours then took a cruise.

Room tip: Make sure you arrive before all the restaurants/bars close so you can use the credit given for the resort fee which isn't optional.

Nice view, nice room, but ...

The good:
Amazing view from the balcony at the cruise ships port and at the downtown, especially in the night. This of course depends on where your room is facing.

The bad:
1. Very bad water pressure in the shower.
2, Wi-Fi is not free, contrary to what is now considered customary at hotels, and when we tried to pay for Wi-Fi, the online payment system was rejecting our Wi-Fi registration requests, so, had to manage without any Wi-Fi.
3. The room was reserved for 4, but towerls, cups, etc. were supplied only for 2.

Since the Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay is the only hotel in this area with balconies, we find our guests love this feature, and we are happy this was the highlight of your stay. That said, we regret the inconvenience regarding the WiFi service and apologize for any confusion about our internet fee.
