NOT RESORT QUALITY!
I booked 3 nights starting 6/6/24, cancelled 2.
Neither bar is open even though they still advertise they are. Was told the bars are under renovation but heard they can't get bartenders.
Grounds are unkept, messy, and unattractive.
Continental breakfast is a joke.
I will admit the beds were comfortable.
None of the watersports advertised on their site are no longer available. They're very much aware if this just don't update their site. That's deliberate false advertising to me. The bars are not open nearly as much as advertised and when they're, they're lacking some of the basic bar supplies because management couldn't figure out how to reorder. Tried to play volleyball, but they didn't have a ball and told us the dogs poop on the grass court so probably don't want to play there anyway. Wow! The tennis courts do exist. They don't seem to be in the best shape. Didn't try asking for tennis supplies. The place has potential but until they figure out what to do with it, I would stay somewhere else.
Everything about this place is disappointing. No service or amenities as promoted on their website. Moldy buildings. Filthy landscaping. Non-responsive manager who is so inept his employees are mistreated and quit. Leading to no service and no amenities.
Everyone who worked here is wonderful! Al and Pedro helped me to unpack and repack my car; Ed saw that I was having a bad day and brought popcorn to me after maintenencing the television; everyone at the front desk to include Maria, Melissa and Ivis were patient and helpful during my entire stay; Joni is super sweet and helped me check in/out and with billing; and Nadege did a tremendous job servicing the room. All employees are happy and wear big smiles on their faces.
The room was tastefully decorated and was very comfortable. The pool is clean and well-maintained. I want to move in!!!
basically the rooms were good, but not cleaned in the 5 days we were there, a maid came in daily just to change the towels and empty bins, but no cleaning, the toilet was never cleaned, and no toilet brush to DIY. The rooms have been updated and no problem there, but the facility is terrible. Nothing at all like their website. Run down, needing a cleaning and updates, pool bar closed on a day it is to be open, they charge an additional $45 resort fee for a bad dirty pool area, I noticed cigarette ends under the sun beds that were never moved. The pool water was clean but the pool edgings were broken and dirty with sharp edges, I can not imagine how they can charge $45 a night for resort fee, the breakfast we refused. The sandy area near the bar was nice at sunset. This could be a great resort if only it was cleaned and painted and more staff.
