We had a 2 night stay at this lovely hotel n a recent trip to Key West. We came by taxi from the airport.First impressions very good. A charming historic inn in a good location, just a few blocks from Duval Street, we had 2 ground floor rooms 20 & 21. Both were fairly small doubles but comfortable for a short stay.Stylishly decorated. No closets, but comfy beds, fridge in the room, flat screen TV on wall. Stylish bathrooms, one with a large shower. Only negative was the noisy air conditioning units.
We found the staff were pretty friendly, especially Eddie, who was very helpful with recommendations for trips and places to eat. Housekeeping did a good job, everything was very clean.
The grounds were very lush, lovely small pool and sunbathing area and some shady sitting areas with nice furniture. Breakfast was served out here between 8-10am. Good coffee and great muffins. There was also bread, bagels, yoghurts, cereals etc. A great start to the day.
It was my partners birthday while we were here and she got a bottle of Prosseco, which was nice.
All in all a great stay and I would have given this excellent other than the noisy aircon. I would come back again and recommend.More
