this resort offers many amenities -- so many that we did not have an opportunity to use all of them. Enjoyed the smaller heated pool almost each day. The staff is very kind and helpful -- even took time from their day to take photos of our costumes (there in October for the Disney Not so Scary event). We also like the location as it is not in the crazy traffic nearer the theme parks but is only about 15 minutes away from the theme parks.

Had a 3 bedroom unit...Only room for 2 chairs on balcony...Linoleum in kitchen and baths. Don't try to sleep in. Blinds only on bedroom windows...require draperies. Pool large, heated and clean. Unit clean.

Booked a 3 bedroom and when we went to check in found out that other family members traveling with us were in a different building. Jackie checked us in and was amazing and was able to move us all into the same building. We stayed in the newer building right next to activity building. The room was great and very beautiful
The pool and golf were very nice and never a crowd at either one which was even nicer.
The one down side was the activity centers pool tables were expensive. it was a dollar a game which is a little high and the food at activity center was way too expensive even the ice cream was too expensive. If you had a couple kids wanting ice cream you would go broke buying it.
The resort was beautiful and everyone was great. I would stay here again and would recommend the place. Would book again at this resort. Thank you everyone it was an amazing stay!

Room tip: try to stay in new building and would have been nicer on first floor then no steps to climb everytime you go to pool or golf

My details: picked a 3 bedroom unit. I do not own at this resort, but do own at a 'sister' resort (Silverleaf Villages).

The staff: great when you can find them. They were rather sparse during our stay; except grounds maintenance. During checkin and out they were cordial, friendly, and informative. At checkin the staff looked for a room in the newer building, but couldn't find one for the full stay. In hindsight I would've offered to change rooms mid stay to not be in the older building.

The property: Has very little flora. Just a wide open space with buildings, a couple pools, and minimal plants/flowers. The resort is away from the touristy 'drag'; so its nice and quiet. Easy to get to; and close to restaurants (mostly chains). Nice cinema, but the movie choices were just meh. Not much onsite activity occurred during our stay. This wasn't a bad thing for us; since the trip was for mostly down time. I can only presume that this was common since Disney is 30 minutes; so why would the resort go to any lengths to plan for onsite activities.

The room: Definitely a dated unit. Not remotely like the pictures on this site or theirs. Our unit was first floor immediately beside the pool (which was a great location). The patio curtain had a hole about an inch wide and very conspicuous (maybe from age, maybe from moths, maybe from washing). The bedspread was also older (think late 80s circa Golden Girls). The floors are also a little thin; which wasn't a bother until two days before we left - when a family with children checked into the upstairs unit. Even though it was dated it was clean and functional.

The wifi was spoty; but didn't bother me really; since I wanted to be 'away'.

I'd visit again, but my expectations have dropped because I'd prefer a nicer room/unit experience (e.g. modern design, softer sheets/bedding, quieter, etc)

Room tip: If you get assigned to the older units ask for an upper floor.
