This was another stop for us on the camino that was a pleasant surprise. The hotel appears relatively new but is starting to show signs of needing maintenance. We arrived early yet the staff accommodated our check-in and were helpful & friendly. They also explained breakfast was from 7.10am (yes that is correct) and dinner was from 8.00pm.
Our room had a lovely balcony with table and four chairs that was just great for our afternoon G & T. The room itself was a good size with a functional ensuite. Cleanliness was just ok and superficial. The noise was no worse than any other modern hotel.
We had the Pilgrims Menu at the restaurant which was very nice for €10. My wife and I both had the fried trout for the main course which was very good, as was the vino blanco.
Overall the hotel was above par for this region of Spain but could do with a freshen up.More
