My husband and I came for an overnight stay with our 1yr old. We stayed in an ocean-king and the view did NOT disappoint!
The room was beautiful, very New England charm— the bathroom had a jacuzzi tub which was fun for our baby :)
We went on a Wednesday and the property was pretty quiet, indoor pool wasn’t busy either (it was raining when we arrived, so beach / outdoor pool were not an option). Resort restaurant food and service was also great.
Checking in and out was super seamless and the staff were very kind and helpful.

We would absolutely stay here again. Thinking about making it an annual tradition! Love that it is local as we live in CT.

Tom at the bar makes the best drinks and is so friendly!
He always greets you with a smile! We love to come when Trifecta is playing! Good music, strong drinks, and the sound of the waves crashing! Can’t be beat!

The hotel was overwhelmed at full capacity. The pool was literally wall to wall people with lots of kids. The hotel needs a kiddy pool or a family pool. The beach was horrible with slimy green stuff all along the shore and oily water. Keep in mind this is the sound not the ocean. The food was terrible. Not sure why even toasted bagels and English Muffins were cold and not toasted? Anyway, this place needs new management and training for the staff.

Room tip: Loud music 6-9pm so ask for room away from deck IF you don't like music at night

We came for breakfast this morning. The buffet was lacking several items which I had to ask the maitre d for. The staff is ok, the food is ok the prices are pretty high.
Much of the food had been sitting in steamer trays for quite some time including the pancakes and French toast. The bread station was depleted as was the cut up fruit. For $25.00 plus automatically added gratuity they should pay a little closer attention to the details and the customers.

I had lunch at the Sunset Grill at the Water’s Edge. I give it two stars only because the location and ambiance are wonderful. Otherwise, a huge disappointment. Service was awful. I ordered the cold lobster roll. $32!. When it finally came after 30 minutes it looked like a scoop of lobster salad that I could get in a container at Stop & Shop for $6.99 on a big hot dog roll. More roll than salad. And my $6 side of fries, a half handful of frozen fries, was pretty poor. Go for a drink and enjoy the setting, but don’t waste your money on underwhelming food.
